Hotel Annunziata

There’s really nothing not to like about this hotel first when you walk in everybody that works there are nice helpful and accommodating. We ended up in a room that overlooks the castle and at night it illuminated what a great experience location couldn’t be better we could walk to everything, if more of the chain hotels work, the way this family own hotel works we would be enjoying our stays much more these days. The room was very nice we had a suite the bathroom was all updated the body lotions and soap were excellent nice TV. Unfortunately they didn’t have anything in English but BBC would’ve enjoyed a couple of stations in English when we had our downtime architecturally they kept some of the old wooden beams on ceiling of the room, which gave it character they had outlets next to bed ,The breakfast was phenomenal so many choices. It’s difficult to decide what to eat especially for me who likes healthy gluten-free foods.and great for those who do not need gluten-free cereal fruit eggs, etc. If you need a hotel in-this city, I wouldn’t hesitate to book here, they have bike rentals which we did not use. They have a nice sitting area outside the front door where you can have a drink. They now have a water dispenser where you can fill up your own bottles of water with water that’s been filtered. again this is definitely a great place to stay in Ferrara. If

It's was so strange as we were given a price then 5 min later the host who is a non smiling lady gave us a higher price. WiFi was very weak and interrupted in the room No one to help with luggage The lady host was non smiling person that gives you bad energy in this amazing place Once exposed to the outside area ...everything is beautifull. My advice is to put another person to help in the front desk

This is the best hospitality experience at a hotel that we’ve had in our travels. Zeno and team are kind, gracious and extremely helpful with anything you need during your stay. My wife and I studied in Ferrara 7 years ago and just came back for the first time since - the experience at Annunziata remained excellent and we are looking forward to our return. The hotel is beautiful and the suites that they offer are exquisite. The breakfast is also wonderful and the bitter Spritz experience is one of a kind for an aperitivo. Highly recommend!

I attempted to book this hotel last minute at 11:55PM with my wife and two elderly parents because of unforeseen circumstances. Although I had booked for the date 9/6/23-9/7/23 and checked twice before I booked, the confirmation for booking I received was for the next day. I immediately notified the agency I booked through (literally one minute after booking), and attempted to cancel right away. The agency contacted the hotel and hotel responded with “do not cancel the hotel and call management in the morning”. We scrambled through the city at midnight to find another hotel for the night as the this hotel was fully booked. We did as they said and called the manager the next morning. To our surprise, we were met with a condescending response that included “why didn’t you cancel immediately, you made us lose a customer, and you are playing a game.” I calmly explain what had happened. Manager hurriedly hung up the call and told us to email as they were very busy doing “check in”at 10:42AM. This is unacceptable, and If anyone runs into a scheduling conflict or issue with a booking I would hope you wouldn’t be accused of “playing a game” to sabotage a hotel. Please be aware of the unprofessionalism by the manager of this hotel. I would highly reconsider booking with this hotel as this kind of issue can happen any moment, and you will be met with such hostile attitude.
